At Little Pixies, food is at the heart of nursery life. We believe healthy eating should be exciting and balanced, with mealtimes shared as a chance to build good habits together. Our team sit and eat alongside the children, helping them to build confidence, try new foods, and develop positive relationships with what’s on their plate.
Our dedicated cooks, Matt, Rachel, and Stacey, prepare every meal fresh on site, using high-quality, seasonal ingredients sourced from trusted local suppliers. From comforting favourites to adventurous new recipes (often with a touch of hidden veg wizardry), children are encouraged to explore a wide variety of flavours and develop a positive relationship with food from the very start.
We are proud to hold the Platinum Healthy Eating Award from Shropshire Council, alongside a Level 5 Food Hygiene rating, recognising our commitment to the very highest standards. With changing seasonal menus, meat-free days, and full support for dietary needs and weaning, our food ethos is simple: fresh, nourishing meals that give children the best possible start in life.
All nursery fees are fully inclusive of meals, snacks, and milk, with alternative milks provided if required.
