If you are considering Little Pixies Nursery for your child, we’d be delighted to welcome you for a visit. There’s no better way to get a feel for our nurturing environment than by seeing it in action. You’ll have the opportunity to meet our caring team, explore our indoor and outdoor spaces, and ask any questions you may have about daily routines, learning approaches, and settling in.

If you decide Little Pixies is the right fit for your family, securing a place is easy. We ask that you:
- Complete our application pack
- Pay a £100 registration fee
Please note that our minimum booking requirement is 10 hours per week, to help children settle and benefit fully from our learning environment.
Spaces are limited and often fill quickly, so we recommend getting in touch early to avoid disappointment. We look forward to welcoming you and your little one into the Little Pixies family!
Our fees
After your place is confirmed, we’ll provide you with a tailored quote based on your selected sessions. Our fees are fully inclusive, meaning there are no hidden extras. They cover:
- Nappies, wipes, and suncream
- All meals and snacks
- Whole milk, formula milk, and alternative milks if required
- Forest school sessions (Sprites & Elves)
DAY RATES
- Full Day £68.50
- School Day £55.00
- Extended School Day £62.00
Pre-booked early or late finishes can be arranged with the office at an additional cost of £9.50 per booking.
Funding
Funding options are available to help families with the cost of childcare.

Funding is available for 38 weeks of the year, and we spread this across the 51 weeks that the nursery is open.
Each family receives an annual statement showing how funding is distributed, along with details of any voluntary charges for consumables and enrichment activities. Calculations are based on the school calendar (September–August) and are pro-rated according to funding eligibility and your child’s start date.
Enrichment and Consumables
- Full Day £22.50
- School Day £17.25
- Extended School Day £20.25
Any sessions outside of funded hours are charged at the nursery’s standard rates.
Settling in
We offer 2 free settling in sessions before your child starts nursery. These sessions are designed to help your child feel safe, secure, and happy in their new environment.
What to expect during settling in:
- We’ll begin building positive relationships with you and your child
- You’ll meet our team and your child’s Key Person
- We’ll learn about your child’s likes, dislikes, and routines
- We’ll discuss any specific needs, such as meals, naps, or comforters
Our aim is for both you and your child to feel confident and comfortable before beginning permanent sessions.
